Vanity! Experiencing issues with Firefox web browser, anyone had this issue?

Hey! I've been having an issue with Firefox over the past month or so. In the tools/options page I have it set up for scrolling pages with the mouse wheel. Lately, almost on a daily basis, when I pull up certain webpages the wheel scrolling goes dormant and I have to use the scroll bar on right side of screen. This just happened a few moments ago when I pulled up FR. It seems random and no particular website that I can discern causes it. When this happens I cannot go to the tools/options page and reset the scrolling. The only way to get it back again is to a reboot. It's not a huge issue, but it's annoying.

Thanks!!

Check to see if it's happening only while the wheel thingy up top is showing you that a page is loading/reloading.

My wheel will sometimes fail to respond w/ the above, but returns to normal when the reload is complete .. no reboot necessary.

I had trouble scrolling yesterday at 2 different sites.
First problem, I could start scrolling, the page would jump back up to the top.
nothing could I do would let me read page 2,3,etc.
that was on my iPad using Safari.

Later I was paying bills on my iMac desktop using FF and marble mouse.
Couldn’t page down, same problem as earlier on the iPad. Jumped back to the top page.

I’ve never seen that trouble before and since it happened on 2 completely different machines running 2 different browsers at 2 different sites..??
