Paul was a persecutor of Christians before he converted. Maybe Romney can turn his liberal ways around too. It’s not easy though.

I do want to caution you though. Arnold Schwarzenegger ran a very good campaign in California, from a fairly Conservative point of view. IMO, Romney made too many conservative promises to have gotten away with breaking them if has been elected.
But, he failed to convince too many like you and I he could be trusted. That is why his vote total was a staggering 2.6 million less than John McCain.
Republicans must put forth a conservative that really believes in conservatism and that will champion social conservative issues that will energize more of the base to win Ohio, Virginia, Colorado and Iowa.
