I'm not "blaming it all on the Christian." I am one. ALL was too general. I should have said many.

Yesterday, for the first time, I heard some disheartening info regarding Christians I know--they didn't want to vote for the Mormon; they didn't think the candidates were conservative enough; their churches more-or-less told them to vote for Obama, so they did or they stayed home, not using the God-given freedom to vote; they have NO problem with voting for the abortion candidates because somehow they gain financially if that candidate won.

There are churches that do NOT preach against evil and good out of fear/PC and actually back gay marriage. (people do equate church with Christian, even if evangelicals do not)

We have NOT done what we should have done and it is a shame, not all of us MANY of us.

On another FR thread some idiot was boasting that by staying home evangelicals had taught republicans a lesson.

I appreciate your explanation but still take issue with any reference to blaming Christians in any way for any part in this expected loss, he was not our candidate, not even close. Being a Mormon had nothing to do with my decision to not support Mitt Romney in this election. His positions on most social issues of which I support Romney was on the other side, way over. He advocated for very few, if any social issues that was of great importance to me therefore I could not in good conscience abandon the principles that I hold dear.

I can compromise at times but some issues are beyond compromise as for as I am concerned. If the Republicans want my vote in the future then give me a more palatable candidate that I can feel comfortable with. Romney has been and still is an unprincipled perennial loser in my book. He ranks right down there with Ford, Dole, McCain and maybe even "W". As it appears to me the "R" party is over as of this election, finished. Next election there will be ever more federal tax-dollar tit suckers (welfare and the etc.) draining the life out of our economy.
