I don’t know if it’ll work, but it’s a great retort.
I don’t know if it’ll work, but I agree with every word.
Lovelovelove! I just copied and pasted it to print out, take home, and keep on my desk for future use.
My father went out and ordered a rubber stamp yesterday for the family foundation and his personal use:
Get it from Obama!
I’ve never seen him so pissed.
I would suggest that if the organization is one that you find worthy, honorable or whatever, I suggest you not stick them with the postage. I get requests from good Christian ministries and I would not want to hurt them with the postage.
Yup and it’s appropriate for any other requests from anyone...including Salvation Army, Police orgs, fire orgs, you name it....
Not even my diocese will get money this year...not until our Bishop starts calling “catholics” for Obozo out.
Smarty, I am also considering the same response whenever I hear/see about a victim of crime. The first thing I will ask is, “How did that person vote?” I am very disinclined to help such people.
I will carefully decide where charity goes. If the Obama-voting parasites are part of the cause, it will be ignored.
HA! I was just solicited by an organization who wants me to help buy Thanksgiving meals to poor people. I wrote back to let Obama pay for it and to add me to the list.
It all depends - on the nature of the charity, the people involved, and their world view.
Of course, I want to take care of those causes which advance conservatism, without involving our totalitarian government. Why punish those organizations which had nothing to do with electing a Marxist government?
But if I smell even the slightest whiff of a Demonicrat member or agenda, the cash register closes and locks tight.
Outstanding idea. I have forwarded your post to all my conservative friends.
What difference does it make if it doesnt? The point is. They won’t get the donation. They will have wasted money on a stamp and we can buy dinner or groceries for someone we KNOW who will benefit.
I’m planning to so the same thing. No charitable contributions to any organized charity of any stripe. I may offer support on a one to one basis but that’s it.
It should depend on what the organization does and how much of their funding is from the government. If it is for a Unionized organization, especially a public union, I think your response is great. Trumka as much as admitted it was the unions that pushed Obama over the top.
Don’t know.
But I do know I’ll donate more to my church this coming year than the VP of the US will to his.
I’m saying “Oh yeah, definitely, let me get you a number you can call for my donation. Here it is, 202.456.2121.”
That’s the White House switchboard. Can’t wait from my alumni drive.
Jee, I wonder what happened to my United Way contribution this year.. hum....
Our supervisor handed out requests for United Way. I wrote unable to contribute due to the Obama economy and handed it back in.
