Naturally the pro union proposals were deliberately deceptive as were the ads for them. The supporters of even worse prop 2 even changed their name at least once to be more “inclusive”.

They went from “Save our Jobs” to “Save working families”.

America has no idea of the bullet that was dodged with the defeat of prop 2. That was going to be the blueprint for union power grabs in other states. It would have effectively given the union veto power over the state legislature.

I take it you're not from Michigan. I am. Michigan is heavily union. UAW + lots of public sector unions. I'm frankly surprised that the same people who voted for the Kenyan Marxist defeated the union proposal. I haven't read the details of it, but it must have been pretty bad.

On the other hand, 9.3% unemployment and climbing does have an effect on people.
