No ONE is assimilable anymore. Based on their work ethic, entrepreneurship, education, and drive, Asians should
not be an 0bama constituency. But they went in the same direction as Hispanics in this election. Even many people in this forum, as a reaction to what they're seeing, are increasingly thinking of themselves as "White" Americans.
But there are no "White" Americans, anymore than their are African-Americans or Asian-Americans. There are only Americans, or else, there no longer is an America at all.
