Georgia Peaceful Secession - Sign The Petition

Peacefully grant the State of Georgia to withdraw from the United States of America and create its own NEW government. As the founding fathers of the United States of America made clear in the Declaration of Independence in 1776:

"When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation."

"...Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and institute new Government..."

There will be no secession. The matter was settled in 1865. Those in Georgia should know that more than anyone.

How come people don't circulate petitions promising to be better people and live better lives?

It was settled for that generation, but each new generation faces new decisions whether to follow what was or to pursue what might be. The Founders knew this and acted accordingly.

That would be news to the folks in the former USSR, or Yugoslavia, or Czechoslavakia, etc.

As our republic has been replaced with a bankrupt democracy, I really see secession as the only way out.

It's ironic, we created the Union in no small part to end the State regimes of money printing, and we'll have to leave the Union to have a chance to get back to sound money.

I think that the whole SEC should secede!

Seriously, if Georgia secedes, I’m there. It’s only 20 minutes from here to GA!

Now that Texas A&M is an SEC team, a serious secession movement would remove the whole SEC from the US.

I’m 40 minutes from GA, so I’ll be moving there too if they can get out of the USSA.

The secession worked fine. Then the US attacked. We just have to prevent the US from attacking. And there are plenty of ways now to do that. You just have to open your mind up to the possibilities.

Glad to be in Texas now where we have an SEC team. Man what a game that was yesterday. Sure looked like Alabama would come back two weeks in a row. What I am amazed at while watching SEC games, is just how enthusiastic the fans are. Amazing. Oh, and how much does it cost to get a seat in that Alabama section where all those baton twirling ladies sit ?

The structure for a Nazi model of control has been implemented by executive order which will allow the US Govt. to control all resources necessary to become completely subservient.

The National Defense Authorization Act declared the USA a “battlefield” and gave the President the power to authorize the military to detain American Citizens with
out charge or trial.

The National Defense Resources Preparedness act is sort of a “peacetime martial law”. Obama now has authority over all domestic energy, production, transportation, food and water.

It's reminiscent of Hitler's play book.

The Soviet steps for internal subversion of the USA were read into the Congressional Record in the 50’s IIRC, most if not all have been achieved.

Destabilization through currency collapse or civil/race war would be the next step and OK for the New World Order bunch. It didn't work in the 60’s, because there were still too many people believing in the American system, and the strong institutions such as the Churches.

La Raza and other Radical groups make no secret that they intend to establish ATZLAN. This type of thing has happened before - people cross into a country illegally, reach critical mass, take over the government or demand independence. It is the logical result of open borders.

I feel a bit shell shocked, because I really no longer recognize the country I grew up in. The state and area I live in is rural, so that seems familiar, but on a national level - it's like nothing I have ever experienced.

If these Marxist types follow the usual play book, the leftist accomplices/useful idiots are among the first to be shot, so I guess they'll deserve what they get.

I would no longer laugh at the possible break up of the USA. It is more possible now than at any time in my life.

From the peace treaty that ended the Revolutionary War:

Article 1st:

His Brittanic Majesty acknowledges the said United States, viz., New Hampshire, Massachusetts Bay, Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia, to be free sovereign and Independent States; that he treats with them as such, and for himself his Heirs & Successors, relinquishes all claims to the Government, Propriety, and Territorial Rights of the same and every Part thereof.

To my mind, the thesis of the Declaration of Independence is the ultimate principle of the Revolutionary War:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

I think we can safely say we've crossed that threshold. Why not peacefully separate with the hard core 'blue' states that embrace the nanny state?
