Thank you. I lost a lot of ‘friends’ over this. Can’t say I give one iota of a damn.

I lost a few on facebook, liberals who can’t handle the truth. I responded to every lie with the truth, and shared and commented on articles that supported my positions. I got unfriended, or they just shut up.

My cousin started up again, and when she had no facts to support her position, I called it like I see it. I told her that the things she was saying about conservatives sound suspiciously like what was once said of Jews. (We are both Jewish). Now she’s demanding that I drop the supject. I’m happy to do so, but I’ll be calling the lies when I see them.

I for one thinks the Tea Party should adopt some form of uniform or signage of the group as a whole. It could be tricorn hats for all I care but no berets.

Could be an armband, it could be a modified flag pin such as the Gadsden flag with an AR rifle.

But we should adopt a universal uniform and wear it daily, to show our numbers, to show we are not afraid to wear our colors with pride.

The MSM and the left is painting us as terrorists, better to be regarded with awe as being crazy than be tormented, persecuted and even eliminated as surrenderists.

In our new book " A Patriot's History of the Modern World (to 1945)," we outline (for the first time ever, that my research can find), the "Four Pillars of Exceptionalism." These are Christian (mostly Protestant) religion, common law, free markets, and property rights with titles and deeds).

All of these have been damaged, but not destroyed and all can be restored.

but led by self government

That is the foundation of our revolution and Constitution, enshrined in our Declaration and Article I Section 1. There is no moral obligation to obey anything other than laws passed by our representatives. I don't care what 100 years of knuckle-headed "jurisprudence" says, there is no historic support for the idiotic notion that Congress may assign powers granted by We The People. Absent Congressional approval, regulations and diktats are logically void.

As did I, Dave. The most incredible part was, I almost never posted on their statuses so as not to start WWIII but they would come on mine or my links and start spouting off one ignorant lie after the other knowing there was no way in hell I was going to let them get away with it and when I called them out on them, they would get offended as hell. The big winner was always Benghazi. No one, not one of them would reply to my statues or direct questions on that. They seemed fully capable of making up lies about everything else but didn't dare tread there. Those that even had a clue what it was about, I should say, and they were few and far between.

Sounds too much like the Brown Shirts & swastika arm bands of Nazi Germany.

An American flag lapel pin is the ticket. The Liberals hate the flag.

“Christian (mostly Protestant) religion”

Would that be the Protestant religions promoting homosexuality & perversion? Maybe those that favor the Palestinian terrorists over democratic Israel?

If I had to pick the one that does not fit in this group, this one has to be it. It is sad, but lately, true. You might be right about the Protestantism of 50-100 years ago, but not today’s Protestantism.

(No, I am not Catholic!)

A better fit is morality, honor, & integrity, things sorely lacking in our society.

So Catholicism doesn’t fit into your model?

There were very, very few Catholics in America prior to 1820. So, no, it really doesn’t. Maryland had so few Catholics that it had to import Protestants prior to about 1800.

It would be the Protestant religion as the one that dominated America from 1607 to the 1850s. Yes, that one. No, “morality, honor and integrity” are not possible, we argue, without Christianity.

I would like to replace the word “conservative” with the term “originalist”. World for me.

Yet your model goes up to 1945 and a good deal of the basic tenets of the Church are espoused by Conservative ideology. Might want to at least add a footnote. :)

Basically it deals with why the pillars, established in the late 1700s, are largely gone in the rest of the world by 1945.
