The fedGOV has every right to intercede when it’s a federal race ... We need standards ... The states can do what they want and the fedGOV can ignore them.
1.) positive id ,, can be biometric or gov’t issued photo id with good security measures ,, d/l or passport
1a.) thumbprint/eyescan or similar traceable signature from voter to be placed on ballot or sign in sheet or both. If Walt Disney World can track 15million visitors a year at one park alone with NO DELAYS and match them up to verify their tickets really are theirs the fedGOV can do it.
2.) approved methods of voting that allow for hand recounts , electronic methods without a paper trail are verboten.
3.) absentee ballots will be tallied and included in the reported vote totals ,, not weeks down the road...
4.)7am-7pm ,,, anyone in line at 7pm will vote , you arrive at 7:01 , you go home.
5.) NO EARLY VOTING
6.) Observers from the 2 largest political parties will at ALL TIMES have full run of the precincts and the elections office where ballots are counted... and anywhere else connected with the election process without exception.
7.) Any instance of overvoting or other fraud must be investigated and if the guilty party is identified they must be prosecuted.
It’s already interfered too much.
I agree with you. I wouldn't want the Fed's controlling elections but they could certainly put out minimum standards to ensure fair elections, reduce the opportunity for voter fraud, reduce the opportunity for machine failure and/or tampering and ensure timely access to voting booths.
WOW!
