HONOR FLIGHT THREAD

although my pix from the men returning seem to have disappeared -- no doubt on a server that is kaput -- the rest of thread is there. Bill was part of the first Honor Flight from Akron to DC. There had already been several from Cleveland & other Ohio cities. Now the program has spread nationally to get free one day trips to WW2 vets to their memorial. It gives them a tour of the other memorials & a nice free lunch. Staffed by all volunteers and financed through the donations of private individuals. It is a wonderful program

When Pam was alive, I remember us having a special prayer time for Bill, when you were helping him move, and trying to get him to give up some of his maps.
