Bobby Jindal was right about Mitt Romney’s comments, if the GOP seeks to survive as a party, it’s going to have to appeal to 100% of the people.

It may be necessary to say that, for the public record, but as a strategy it is wrong, wrong, wrong.

If the GOP is to prosper(not just survive) it will need to forge a reliable 60% coalition. And let the other 40% make do with lip service. That's how the 'rats do it, and it works.

Therefore, it will never happen. To much diversified infighting among us, and it will always be thus.

i.e: I won't VOTE for him/her because.............

I won't vote for him/her because...........

They would rather cut of their noses first. I wish it were not so, but it is the fact.

I really don’t care whether the “GOP is to prosper.”
We all (most, a lot us) got on board with Mittens because the plan was to eject Zero and then `hold Mitt’s feet to the fire’ over the next four years.
Look at the pattern since WWII: FDR/Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy/Johnson, Nixon/Ford, Carter, Reagan/Bush, Clinton, Dubya and now Zero.
Excluding FDR following the 22nd Amendment, after eight (sorry Jimmah, HW) years the public tires of the party in power and turns to the other.

Of course, this was also the way we were thinking on 11/05/2012, that the public is rational.
My point is, we don’t have to truckle to the GOP-e. No way. Been there, done that.
