AND, does anyone believe that if klinton were a Republican, he would have been allowed to remain in office after being impeached?
I remember when the story broke about klinton and monica, dim-0 senators saying they didnt believe it but, if it turned out to be true, he had to go. Same senators then when the charges about monica were proven true AND perjury AND obstruction of justice, they then refused to vote to remove him.
And one more thing. Remember Nixon? REPUBLICANS forced him to resign, but how about hanoi john kerry? He did the EXACT SAME THING as watergate, but most people have never even heard of it. Didnt even come up during the 2004 election.

One could see the House of Representatives voting FOR the objection, but not the Senate? I wonder if its by simple majority?
If several state’s votes will not count, especially larger ones like California and Ohio, Florida,etc., then Obama would not have the electoral votes presumably, to be elected by the Electoral College?

That is supposed to be done by the Secretary Staes of each State. In Obama’s case it was not done, or they lied.
The process outlined relates to how the PE would be challenged when the electoral college vote is presented to Congress, for reason of incapacity ( incapacity, death or fraud etc.).
It has to be done in writing and an objection filed at the time the electoral college vote is presented to Congress. The objection has to be presented simultaneously in writing both in the House and in the Senate, for consideration on the motion that the House and Senate accept the result of the Electoral College Vote, when presented by the Director of the Federal Registry. The debate then occurs and evidence presented in support of the objection. Thats where Sherrif Joes investigatory team might come in.
Will it happen? There are rumors but nothing more than that.
I would be really surprised if a Senator joined in. Cruz has already indicated he doesn't care about this issue. The only possibility I see is Sen. Paul; and that seems rather remote, given his father's silence in 2008-09.
While I will agree that the each SoS is supposed to it appears that by the words "President elect" and the fact it part of "Vacancies in office" that congress somehow how this oversight of eligibility.

As Ohio’s chief elections officer, the Secretary of State oversees the elections process and appoints the members of boards of elections in each of Ohio’s 88 counties.
The Secretary of State supervises the administration of election laws; reviews statewide initiative and referendum petitions; chairs the Ohio Ballot Board, which approves ballot language for statewide issues; canvasses votes for all elective state offices and issues; investigates election fraud and irregularities; trains election officials, and works with counties to train poll workers.
The Elections Division of the Secretary of State’s office also compiles and maintains election statistics, political party records and other election-related records.
While our men and women over seas will not have their ballots counted, Somalia’s, most of whom aren’t American Citizens and speak no English are being bussed into Ohio in an attempt to effect the outcome of a very close battle ground state.
To make matters worse, they need provide no identification and have interpreters “helping them vote.”

HUMAN EVENTS A source, who wishes to remain anonymous, is a volunteer outside the Morse Road polling center. She has witnessed Somalis who cannot speak English come to the polling center. They are brought in groups, by van or bus. The Democrats hand them a slate card and say, “vote Brown all the way down.” Given that Sherrod Brown is the incumbent Democrat Senator in Ohio, one can assume that this is the reference.
Another source who also wishes to remain anonymous has seen Democrat interpreters show the non-English speaking Somalis how to vote the Democrat slate that they were handed outside. According to this second source, there are not any Republican Somali interpreters available. Complete article below.
The logical follow-up question is whether a non-English speaking person is an American citizen. Although Republican leadership in Ohio passed a voting reform law, it was repealed by the legislature itself after the Democrats threatened a referendum.
According to the Ohio Secretary of State’s web site, someone wanting to vote early in Ohio must supply one of the following in writing on the absentee ballot form, whether voting early by mail or in person: an Ohio driver’s license number; the last four digits of the social security number; or a copy of a current and valid photo identification, military identification, or a current — within the last 12 months — utility bill, including cell phone bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or other government document that shows the person’s name and address in addition to the voter registration acknowledgement.
The voter is not required to show the driver’s license or social security card, but must merely write it on the absentee ballot request form. While the individual would be required to show a utility bill, bank statement or other printed document if he or she chooses that option, this is in lieu of writing the driver’s license or social security number.
Therefore, the information cannot be checked against the Bureau of Motor Vehicles or other state databases.Essentially, a person is asked to check a box stating that they are a citizen, and the poll worker is to trust that they are the person who is listed on the item being shown or the information being written.
In other words, someone can be an illegal resident of the state of Ohio and the United States, get an apartment, turn on the heat, bring in the Columbia Gas bill, register to vote by the deadline, and vote by showing that same bill. There is then no verification that this individual is a citizen of the United States.

Are you f….ing kidding me? And the spineless repubs will let stinking hair fly? I would ask that every single absentee ballot is verified even if takes a month, then all of the imbeciles that voted and were not eligible to vote be deported, with all their stinking families. Back to their homeland, Africa! I am stunned! If o-zero is re-elected, it’s good bye USA as we know it! WAKE UP, AMERICANS!!!

Don’t people need to identify themselves as being on the polling station list when they go to vote? I mean, even if they are voting early, they had to have signed up to do that, and they need to have some form of identifying info with them to sign in at the polling station. At least you need to be on the voting list to be given a ballot. A random person just can’t walk in off the street and vote without having a name that’s on the list. And if a person did sign up to vote early, then they will not be allowed to vote on election day at their regular polling place….even if they miss out on casting their early ballot. That’s how it works. Once your name is put on the early voting polling list, it is removed from the election day polling lists.

Just happen to live in a suburb of Columbus. NAH! The left would never do something like that! And the Somalian population large? Well…a lady told me her grandson was told he couldn’t wear his cross necklace to school by the teacher. She said she told the teacher when the girls in his class quit wearing their religious clothes she would think about it. The funny thing about where they chose to do the early voting…the largest population in that area is…you guessed it SOMALIAN! Made it easier for them to transport them to and fro in this time of high gas prices. You can’t go to the stores in that area anymore and that is where I grew up. It’s sad. The whole north end is draped in yards of Muslim material and English is a language of the past.
It was Lot’s uncle, Abraham, who sought mercy for Sodom. He wheedled the number down to ten, but the city could not meet that standard and was doomed.
