Jamie Foxx used his opening monologue on last night's edition of "Saturday Night Live" to assure us that "black is in."
Foxx, who recently told an awards show crowd that President Barack Obama is "our Lord and Savior," employed his "SNL" pulpit to riff on how cool it is to be black right now.
“Black is in,” the Oscar winner said, offering as proof that the NBA’s Nets moved to Brooklyn. “How black is that?” he asked.
He went on to talk about his upcoming role in Quentin Tarantino’s "Django Unchained."
“I play a slave. How black is that?” He asked. “I have to wear chains. How whack is that?"
But not to worry, he said...

Obviously he’s not watched many hollywood movies lately. That might have been how it was back in the 70s - 90s, but lately the old white guys are killed off first. The people of color are made to look like saints.
When I was stationed in Korea many moons ago (1978-79 and 1981-82) the Koreans tolerated or liked whites and Hispanics but loathed most of our black troops, and the feeling was mutual, which probably explains all the trouble that Korean shopkeepers here have with blacks. I have personally seen young black soldiers assault a middle aged Korean bus driver who then raised up and kicked them off the bus physically without breaking a sweat, helped by the teen female who took tickets.

My point was not to criticise your posting this thread (no harm in posting something folks might have missed the first time around), but rather the reactions bordering on the bizarre (shown by the number of times it *has* been posted and some of the comments) to something that should hardly bear mentioning. JMHO.

For at least since the 60's, it's been pretty much forbidden by the PC police to have a black bad guy unless the good guy is also black.
Can you visualize the reaction if a white actor had said, even in jest, "I kill all the black people in the movie. How great is that?". His career would be over, FOREVER!
Slave-descended black people in America today are in a bad way, for all sorts of reasons.
Blacks in the 1950s, even in substandard schools, were academically approaching whites in many ways.
Then Noam Chomsky and his associates created “whole language English” that within a decade or two reduced black literacy to bottom of the barrel. White children weren’t affected as much because their parents were themselves literate and took steps to insure that their children did not fall behind.
But without good English, all the rest of their studies failed. Then they were hit with the one-two punch of LBJ’s Great Society welfare state and the sexual revolution. In turn this stripped them of their work ethic and their morality.
And the decline continues. “Black leaders” tell them they are victims of deep racism from the white people who aren’t racists, and must politically support the white people who are racists. Illegitimacy is at 70%, with ruinous and lethal consequences. Unemployment reflects illiteracy and a crippled culture.
Thus they are filled with despair and hatred, and seeing the seven deadly sins as indicators of black success.
We saw the “trailer” for his new movie recently and were appalled at the content of just the trailer. The movie itself would be unwatchable. I hope many leave the theater in disgust.
