Help with hotel in Baltimore (Personal).

I'll be traveling to Baltimore next week with my wife. Can anyone please recommend a safe hotel somewhere near Cromwell Street?
If there are no safe areas near there, can someone recommend a hotel out of town or in the suburbs?

Cromwell St in south Baltimore by 95? You could say in many ritzy hotels in the harbor and take a quick cab ride down there. The Federal Hill area is generally good...preppy. It gets worse as you go south- but it's not terrible like west baltimore as seen in the wire.

I spent some time at APG; that is a pretty nice area...or at least the parts I remember from the early 90’s were.
