My Daughter was on a light dosage of an ADD medicine a couple of years back and it was a Godsend in helping her ability to concentrate, and her grades sky rocketed after the treatment...The docotor was very involved in dosage and after a while she was slowly taken off of it with lighter and lighter dosage. She does not take it anymore and is a typical, happy, outgoing teenage girl. Yes, some are helped with ADD meds.....Again, I have no idea what this guy was taking (or not taking for that matter) and deep the mental problems were. I will not speculate as to whther they contributed at all to this incident.
