He understands it just fine. In order for the picture to be accurate though there needs to be another stick figure with lots of guns named “government”. Then another panel needs to be included with both “bad guy” an “government” victimizing the unarmed “good guy”.
Or better yet, each picture should have several good guys to one bad guy. without Gun control, the bad guy is outgunned, with Gun Control, the good guys are.
