He did not. It was a drawn out affair done in stages beginning with gun registration in the early 1920s under the Weimar govts.
That is why national registration must be resisted: it means govt permission to own guns, and class by class, they take away the most effective arms. Also happened in Armenia, the USSR, etc.

My ex-girlfriend's daughter, the one that I taught to shoot while her mom was deployed, and who later worked for me.... she might not be ok with all of that. And she is scarey smart.
She just graduated as an oilfield engineer of some kind. I wish the left good luck keeping her in chains, they'll need it.

Anyway...the USSC has a list of decisions that I think we would both agree are bad and wrong...most recently the Obama-care decision. I anticipate two far left justices like the two hags he's already put on the court...and I anticipate another bad, faulty ruling concerning the 2nd.
Do not wish them luck. Wish that they find salvation before they die. It will do them a lot more good, and we can use the luck.

I can read the 2A without help. They want to disarm me, under any pretext or under color of law, it will have to be done the hard way.

Absolutely! No question about that. However, the most recent SCOTUS decision (AFAIK most recent) regarding the 2nd Amendment was one of the strongest affirmations of the RKBA there has ever been. That was the one concerning the right to carry in DC.
