As NewsBusters reported Wednesday, Al Jazeera entered into an agreement to buy Al Gore's failing network Current TV.
Hours later, as a result of the purchase, Time Warner Cable dropped the station with a message reading to viewers "This channel is no longer available on Time Warner Cable."
According to multiple news sources, Current co-founder Joel Hyatt said in a statement that TWC dropped his TV network because TWC "did not consent to the sale to Al Jazeera."
“Current will no longer be carried on TWC," wrote Hyatt. "This is unfortunate, but I am confident that Al Jazeera America will earn significant additional carriage in the months and years ahead."

Every cable TV company and Satalite company should all follow suit. Islam propaganda does not have to expand in this country.
Our cable provider is Bright House. I sent them a message requesting they follow Time Warner’s lead and drop Current due to the fact that Al Jazeera is taking it over. Here’s their corporate webpage. If you have this cable provider, please contact them.

I have PRISM TV through Centurylink telephone and they do not have Current tv. May I also add that they hooked up my service, the picture was crystal clear compared to my former cable company Brighthouse because it is a direct hookup and does not need to be converted by the cable box to digital. I was shocked! HD was not all washed out. This is just for your own information. I am quite pleased with the selection of channels which includes Fox Business and at least they do not have Current tv!

And get this, deliberately. The network said they did not agree with Algore on philosophy.
Then the network turned around and later sold to Al-J.
Disgraceful.

It’s been on fios for a while.
Did a double take then updated the TiVo channels.
The real reason is that CNN viewers would leave them for aljazeera .
So radical liberal neo-communism is okay with Time Warner but fanatical Islamic rantings are not. I guess that’s what you’d expect from a company run by a bunch of Jews but it is amazing how they miss how anti-Semitic much of the Left has become.
Not a sudden outbreak of patriotism by TWC.
They just figure they can hold up a bunch of wealthy A-rabs for a higher carriage fee.
