It would be helpful to prepare a very clear and concise executive sunnary (Eligibility for Dummies) on this case, because the people whose attention we are trying to grab absolutely refuse to wade into the minutiae on their own. The mere thought of expecting them to actually read the material is akin to asking them to swallow cod liver oil.

I need a script! I do! I don't know what to say without sounding like a nutcase or fool. I'm not well versed in these legal details or educated and I barely understand the details myself. I'll call my R rep tomorrow and if I feel strong enough I could call the Demfiends. But I can't fax (our ancient fax machine is barely functional) so I don't know how to get the material to them. I wish there was more time. Personally I think the whole system is too corrupt and broken to fix without total collapse but even if that is true, butterdezillion's and others' efforts are well done and will stand historically as the right thing to do.

Look at the summary I just posted to Whiskey and see if you think that would work as a script. If not, or if you or others have constructive advice for how to improve it, I’ll have something you could use as a script by morning. As could others, if we’ve got them ready to give their Senators and Rep a call.

I’ll watch for feedback on that summary and adjust it as necessary by morning. I’m too close to the details; I don’t know how virgins to this issue think or hear any more so I need the advice and feedback of people farther away from it. And both null and void and TXnMA can tell you that I am willing to act on constructive advice without taking offense so don’t be afraid to say anything, either on the thread or in Freepmail.
