I walk everywhere, approx 30-40mi/wk and I still carry some extra weight. But the most ludicrous sight I’ve ever seen is ambling up into the parking lot of a grocery store after walking several miles to get there, and seeing two 300#+ EBT mamas sumo wrestling over the last disabled shopping scooter.
This kind of abuse is a microcosm of a much larger problem in our country. Those people who feel entitled to everything. An example would be the people who get food stamps who don’t actually deserve or even need them. Do a Google search for “EBT Amanda Clayton” to get an idea.
