They were working down here in Palo Alto and Saratoga and going occassionally to the local community college (at least Woz did). They were building the first computer (actually Woz did) for a computer club of geeks in Palo Alto.

And sorry the difference between Buzzurkly in those days and Palo Alto was vast....50 miles would never define it.

I know they kicked things off in Cupertino... I thought Woz's mom lived in Berzerkerly.

I knew about the Palo Alto connection. But isn't that just an hour or so away?

My daughter got in yesterday. She went there, stood around near the entrance, picked up a name tag off of the ground outside and walked right in. The name on the tag was John something.

They met at Homestead high which is in Cupertino. WHile Woz actually attended a year at Cal following high school he dropped out, came back home, and worked in the valley.

WHile mileage may seem to indicate that Palo Alto and Berkeley are only 50 miles (1 hour apart) they are in fact a at least two lifetimes apart
