In a different era, anyone hearing this story would sit patiently waiting for the punch line to what obviously would have to be a joke. Today, our society is so far gone, so consumed with liberal/progressive Utopianism, that there appears to be no limit to the absurdity that “progressives” will accept. One need look no further for additional proof than the “gay marriage” movement. The fact that any normal person allows themselves to be cowed into giving so much as a millisecond’s serious consideration of such an absurd and evil notion is proof positive that our society is insane.

When is his term over for heaven’s sake? Did NY elect this man for life?
If he were to fall and break his hip, his attitude would change quickly. Very quickly.

An article yesterday was posted here about his intent to limit the quantity of pain med available in hospital ER’s:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2977741/posts

I posted my recent experience, coming soon to a pharmacy near you. I am re-posting it below:

“Sigh. I was recently rx’d one of these types of drugs, after a number of others of these types of drugs haven’t worked.

The first time having it filled, the pharmacy didn’t have any in stock. It would take a week to get it in. They ended up sending me to another in-network pharmacy that did happen to have it stock, and assured me they would order it so they would have it on hand. We had a blizzard in the middle and a resulting delay of 4 days due in part to weather, and in part to them trying to find another pharmacy with it in stock.

Well, the dr. decided to increase my dose after two weeks. I called the pharmacy to make sure they had gotten the order in. No, it had been cancelled due to a new DEA regulation. Since I had the original rx filled at a different pharmacy, the policy resulted in the order to their pharmacy being cancelled.

They told me they would check around for the closest one of their locations, and I could take it there. Well, the closest was 100 miles this time, instead of 25. So, they were going to try to order it again, but it would be a week, if they could even get it.

That was Jan 4. I’m still waiting...

Obamacare = take the blue pill -/- New DEA regulation = you can’t get the blue pill

I did clarify in a later post, that this not due to a _drug shortage_ but rather a restriction imposed by DEA on how much of a certain medication a pharmacy can keep on hand.

He's trying to prevent drug abuse by force of law - just like our War On Drugs.
