I was struck by the same thing. I don’t claim to be a pistol expert, but I absolutely know I shoot better than that. If that was competition shooting, maybe I should sign up. She got a couple of tight groups, but most were flyers. Remember she is indoor at about 30 feet it looked like. I can shoot one ragged hole at that range with any gun I own. Maybe it was the camera’s and 10 million viewers.
Well I guess anyone can be world champion. good grief, lets see you get on tv in front of 10 million people and do better.
heck we don’t need liberals to stab conservatives in the back, conservatives are happy enough to do that themselves
You think you can shoot better than her? Don’t make me laugh.
She wasn’t shooting at a target, she was demonstrating the guns. Jeeze.
I do believe she was spreading the group to demonstrate what she was there to do, show the holes that various firearms make.
one could get in depth about size of hole up close vs accuracy at range, but many people that they were trying to reach, need to look at the holes, and more importantly, to see that they are all eeevvvil semi-autos, some looking "ugly", some looking "non threatening", and that the ar with it's cosmetic features is deemed dangerous, while the 12g, while making a decent sized hole up close, is not,. I believe she does make some points here.
The sort of competition she shoots doesn’t require tight groups.
It requires that you hit a target within a “zone” or a reactive target (a popper, for example). It doesn’t matter that you hit the target in an “X” ring or inside the 9/10 ring for high scores. It is scored as “number of hits in the least amount of time.”
I’ve seen your type of shooter on IPSC and IDPA type targets, where time is the bigger factor. You lose. You can have one-hole groups... and lose at the very back of the pack.
Here’s an example of an IPSC target card:

Any hit in the “A” zones is scored the same. Doesn’t matter if you’re in the center of the zone or you just break the line at the edge. You got an “A” hit in either case.
How fast you put your rounds into that target and got onto the next target in the stage... that matters MUCH more.
You can see some more videos of Jessie here, she is a very accomplished shooter: http://www.britinusa.net
Thanks.
No doubt she was under pressure and no doubt that she is an excellent shot. Her title says it all. She must have been having a bad day.
It was an excellent display of what different calibers can do. I only wish they would have pre-recorded the target shooting part. Even Bo Deitl commented on it.
My only concern is that the gun-grabbers will use her accuracy issue against us. I can hear them screeching now about how an AR-15 is an inacurate weapon even at short range with benefit of a scope!
She was also shooting in front of 20 million people, and she had to keep everything timed and moving for a 6 minute segment. Doubt many here could shoot well under that pressure.
