Have you seen the “Luminosity” ads. They boast of using neuroscience to train your brain and they do it using games. I wonder how many neuro scientists are involved in the video game industry. It seems a lot of these killers favored a video game called “Call of Duty”. Makes you wonder.

No, I don’t watch much television and we dvd most of what we watch and scroll through the ads. But one of the other things that they mentioned was the use of color to invoke an emotion as well as words and phrases.

I looked it up, it’s Lumosity, not luminosity, but that is definitely what this guy was studying, with the added feature of how to apply it to political campaign issues. It’s scary stuff and I think that it pushed the shooter over the edge. I think that is what happened with the Arizona shooter of Gabby Giffords, also. I think that when an unstable person is confronted with all that hate and all that relativity of language, of history and of culture, they sometimes just cannot deal with it. Think about it, everything that they thought that they knew, was no longer reality.
