The cornerstone of Jesuit theology is the subjection of the WILL. The WILL. Not reason. Pay attention to what Ignatius said here:

“To be right in everything, we ought always to hold that the white which I see, is black, if the Hierarchical Church so decides it.”

The white which I see. Not the white which is. Meaning, if my *opinion* sees something as white....not that it actually *is* white.

You know what happened in the late 1700s? The Pope at the time suddenly decided to disband the Jesuits. And you know what the Jesuits did? They disbanded. They accepted it. This is what Ignatius is on about here...having the humility to subject your will to a higher ecclesiastical authority even when it directly opposite to your own will.

The number of paragraphs written, reeking with authority, huffiness, and general round house ignorance expounding on some skinny sliver of something they’ve heard on Catholic dogma, doctrine, terminology, excathedra proclamation, etc., are otherwise loaded with stupid, and its starting to make me laugh.

This boob adds to the humor.
