Well, I wouldn't put a lot of stock in it except as a data point. One thing to watch for is something staged like Waco, but it would have to villify a certain group and justify further action,i.e., unfortunately if there is something bad afoot, to have any hope of public sentiment turn against any media propaganda those who plot would have to shoot first.

And there will be media propaganda, at first in blind support and out of hatred for a perceived "enemy", later on it will be out of fear of reprisal from those the propaganda has targeted as things really heat up.

They key is not facing loyal troops directly, but going after those who sent them.

At Waco, not only did they shoot first, but they were the only ones to shoot, but it didn’t help.
