Senior Colonel Liu Mingfu of China's National Defence University has raised the specter of a nuclear war, and warned Australia not to side with America and Japan. Liu is not an official spokesman for China, but his views are approved. Referring to the dispute between Japan and China over the Senkaku/Diaoyu islands, Liu said that China was prepared to fight "to the death":
America is the global tiger and Japan is Asia's wolf and both are now madly biting China. Of all the animals, Chinese people hate the wolf the most.
If this Japanese wolf again attacks America's Pearl Harbor or Australia's Darwin, how do you know it wouldn't receive another nuclear bomb? The world would hail if Japan receives such a blow.
I don't want to mention China here, as it is sensitive...
[Australia should play the role of a] kind-hearted lamb. Australia should never play the jackal for the tiger or dance with the wolf.

Two additional fleets of Chinese marine surveillance ships are carrying out separate patrol missions in the South China Sea. (I assume that these are the fleets that will support China's announced policy of boarding and seizing foreign ships.) China says that it will continue to carry out regular patrols in the East and South China Seas "to secure the nation's maritime rights and interests."(continued)

And “Peace in our time” is our President.
Sheesh.
Sounds like they’re itching for one...this is like the 3rd major “announcement” about going at us.
Can you blame them?
Women have been approved for combat.
I’m guessing they are taking a page out of the Russian playbook. Rattle your sabre the loudest when you’re at your weakest.
China will invade Oz, there isn’t enough armed opposition in all of Oz to even slow them down.
And it may be a good think historically for Australia to be under the gun literally, who knows maybe they will adop a Constitution and a Second Amendment.
Sometimes you have to know liberty lost before you ever strive to fight for it.
Plus this little fact...
Of course China wants to portray itself as the harmless lovable panda.
Just like the fuzzy USSR bear was blaming Western aggression for its ‘defensive’ posture in invading Afghanistan in 1979.

If Austrailia sides with China, they will become the next Tibet.

Well, it was to some degree. Carter’s national Security Advisor Zbignew Brgezinski openly admitted he did his best to make Soviets think into a theory that CIA was backing jihadis into a revolution in Afghanistan to install a militant islamist government.
The whole Soviet military was against intervention but communist leadership has swallowed the hook.
If I knew how to post gifs their would be a raised middle finger for Senior Colonel Liu Mingfu.

China knows its opportunities on the horizon. Unless this country is attacked directly (and even then, who knows?), Americans won’t want anything to do with going to war with the Chinese. Add to that the fact we don’t have the necessary resources to fully equip our forces.
Not that this matters to most Americans, who would be highly challenged to find either country on a map, but Taiwan will get the brunt of Chinese wrath before Australia does.
Anyone still supporting Free Trade with Communist China is actively aiding the Communist Chinese.
Continued Free Trade With Communist China is a huge international and domestic security threat
