I don’t see Rush revisiting Benghazi (at least today!) so, so much for him visiting the Marine Dad’s “stand down” phone call.
I haven’t seen the call anywhere on the internet, either.
For those here who don’t listen to Quinn & Rose in the morning, Quinn got a call today from a man claiming to be a Marine with a Marine son. He said his son was on a ship off the coast of Libya (”within striking distance”), when his commander briefed some of the crew about a communication he had personally with Obama about the situation in Benghazi as it unfolded. He said the commander offered to go in to assist the embassy staff and CIA operatives, but was told directly by Obama to stand down.
The father said his son was very upset about it. It’s possible Quinn couldn’t verify the veracity of the caller.
