This editorial is well said. At some point facts and reason need to trump the hubris of the left and it’s alleged well-meaning intentions that do more harm than good.
War is possible between the east and west in the next ten years or more.

I certainly hope the momentum is with those of us in favor the 2nd Amendment.
It’s not solely about securing own guns, but our neighbors’ guns, our friends’ guns across state lines. No doubt they already have plans for seizure. It’s a question of responding to the potential seizure outside the realm of anticipated patterns; which could be anything, and nothing specific.
The tyrants methods will involve breaking individual morale, and communication networks.

A violent Saturday leaves 7 dead

Four shootings — two of them double homicides — and a stabbing left 7 people dead Saturday, authorities said.
The killings brought the number of homicides in 2013 to 40.
