How are the “Sandy” victims doing now? Do they have light and heat to endure the blizzard? There has been no followup to this story since Obama pronounced his “Mission Accomplished” in the storm area right before the November election.

Shoot Hurricane Sandy victims are doing just quite dandy I heard. Some of their tents were blown off due to the high winds. Heck, there won’t even be a half-time at next year Super Bowl where the Hurricane Sandy Choir can perform meanwhile in the White Hut......

They still do not have ‘actual’ dune protection. IMO they are still vulnerable to ‘Sandy’ type storms. I am no dune expert; but living here in the Northern Outer Banks NC, you can see a lot of planning went into protecting ocean front property’s. Back in the early 40’s the existing dunes were created by bulldozing and massing planting of vegetation and ample placements of sand fencing.

I spoke with my bro last night and he said some have not recoverd yet from Sandy. He’s in the NY/PA area.
