To: Migraine

Santa Claus comes to mind. If Santa Claus were real, he would be a “good” guy. But as we all know (any children in the room?), he isn’t real and all of the free toys and goodies are paid for by someone, in this case, their parents. A closer analogy would be that their parents have maxed out their credit cards to pay for all of the goodies because they can’t say no because the now completely dependent children would get unruly.

There is the real world and there is the made up world.

Back around Christmas my tagline was "I'm tired of being beaten like a malcontent elf so Obama can pretend to be Santa."

You got close, but didn’t quite cross the line into the crushing irony that whereas Santa’s presents were paid for
by the parents, Obama’s “presents” will be paid for by the children.
Merry Christmas, children, for an as-yet-to-be-determined number of Christmases to come.
