He’s warm and dry, will be soaking up some Margaritas for a good year, then he’ll go back on the hunt.

The narco that puts him up will be seen as a real important hombre.

Holy cow, you are spot on... did Yoda that article write, Hmmm? Awful. Then again, 10 years ago I saw the product that ABET-accredited engineering schools in this country were producing... and they were going to work for the Army... designing munitions? Wow.

I imagine journalism schools are about the same for garbage in garbage out.

So, he decides to go off the deep and start a vendetta against the LAPD and others, then suddenly stops and splits to Mexico?

Hiding in a country as corrupt as Mexico with a million dollar bounty on his head might be tougher than he expects.

Well, interesting. One of the claimed reasons for filing charges today was to get a federal warrant in the system. Could have needed it to get the Federales on the case.

...after allegedly threatening on Facebook "unconventional and asymmetrical warfare"...

I guess slinking off to Mexico while the LAPD is on full alert would qualify as "asymmetrical".

(He can fly a plane)

I thought he was a Navy sailor? He can drive a submarine would make more sense.

Henry Bowman was a pilot, too.

Sounds to me like an attempt to get the edge off the population and thus dispel anger at the LAPD.

Oh...he’s gone now. No worries folks.

Dorner spent the better part of two years at joint pilot training at Vance AFB OK.

Unfortunately, Dorner’s probably in Honduras by now, sipping champagne with 2Pac, Biggie and Elvis.

If Dorner knows how to get a new identity and a passport, he can land a private plane in Mexico, refuel and go anywhere. Valenzuela? Cuba? If I were him, I would go where there are lots of black people like him.

If I were the FBI, I would be checking every name Mexico got landing in their territory to confirm that person is indeed flying an airplane.

Let’s see.. A man who is familiar with how the LAPD operates, displays pretty good knowledge of the Inland Empire, who went up to Big Bear (or had his truck go there) and torch it, is obviously someone who’s on the run from authorities and would flee the really corrupt place where a black man stands out like a sore thumb, obviously abandoning his entire vendetta string because even though the southern border is leaky as a sieve, word will get out about a gringo sneaking across the border to ambush cops.

I’d only lay money down on this if the bet was he was anywhere BUT Mexico, or put down money that the cops say that he fled there so there’s reason for the manhunt to come up empty.

It’s super easier than, oh, I don’t know, following the road down from Big Bear into Victorville with all those nice empty bank owned homes or remote houses that occasionally blow up while cooking meth. Or further up the highway to Inyokern or Ridgecrest where a former navy guy of any race wouldn’t be remarkable.

I suppose this is what passes for police work these days, find some way to say it’s someone else’s problem and then move on. I wonder, have the cops in the two shootings of civilians been charged with attempted murder yet?
