Word on the street is, this story has no good guys in it. Dorner was a murderous lunatic, but the LAPD has the reputation of a gang with badges. No good guys.
The great irony of all this hero-making of Dorner and demonizing of LAPD is that the entire rampage was because Dorner was denied HIS wish to be a part of that racist gang with badges. But no one ever accused ‘the street’ of being terribly bright. Uneducated and ill-informed is more like it.
