Dorner allegedly attempted to steal a boat in San Diego and, after subduing the captain, said he was taking the vessel to Mexico, according to an affidavit filed with the criminal complaint in federal court in Los Angeles. Dorner is accused of telling the captain that he could recover his boat in Mexico. "The attempt failed when the bow line of the boat became caught in the boat's propeller, and the suspect fled," according to the affidavit by U.S. Marshals Service Inspector Craig McClusky. After authorities interviewed the boat captain early Thursday, they found Dorner's wallet and identification cards "at the San Ysidro Point of Entry" near the U.S.-Mexico border, according to the court records.

So did lapd have his ID as evidence in the chain of custody? It isn’t like they haven’t planted evidence before, but why? And if dorner was burnt to a crisp, why didn’t his license burn with him? I’ve wondered that since they first reported finding his license in the cabin.

If the license was in his wallet, his wallet was in his back pocket and he died laying on his back, the license could have survived the fire by being protected by the moisture in his body..

“California issues fireproof licenses?”

They get them from Saudi Arabia.

its like Obamas birth certificate. Does not matter if it is forged or does not exist or where it came from or how it got there because the government is out of control at every level and they will do whatever they want whenever they want, to whoever they want

I just appreciate the fact that they even bother to lie anymore. At least it shows they still care about appearances at least. If they told the truth it would hurt and go something like : "We killed this guy without making positive ID first, if he was after you we wouldn't have put out so much effort, if it was your cabin we would burn it to the ground without even thinking about it too. Because we are the most important thing in the universe. We are the government ! Got that ? Now turn in your guns and let this serve as an example of what we will do to you if you try and resist "

Well... Apparently the moderator doesn’t want me to link to Alex Jones’s website. Can’t say I disagree with that, but still...

Anyway, there were several reports of Dorner’s driver’s license showing up in odd places:

The boat heist story in the LA Times mentions the wallet:

http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2013/02/dorner-manhunt-ex-cop-may-got-help.html

And, the following article from U~T San Diego mentions a previous report concerning a shuttle bus driver turning over Dorner’s driver’s license to authorities:

http://www.utsandiego.com/news/2013/feb/12/dorner-hunt-big-bear/

So, yes. It is quite an interesting conundrum.

Cheers!

they also issued statements to the media claiming the fire was accidentally set by tear gas. But they were caught on scanner ordering the cabin deliberately burnt to the ground by incendiary devices

Doesn’t look very probable that a DL would survive that, does it?

Slow news day —

What difference does it make???

They’ve got his charred ashes and an LA Times commenter wants to argue about where they found his DL.

I’ll bet he had more than one — DL that is.

being that he was almost 300 pounds that might describe the moisture in his body.
