I love hearing stories like this. It confirms my belief that there are still some Americans living in this country.

Has anyone ever seen a story like this where the writers and reporter strove SO HARD to avoid revealing the name and location of the store?

Makes one realize how important the Bill of Rights was to our forefathers. They lived through the conditions that precipitated these RIGHTS of every individual. They didn’t want it to happen again...........ever.

I’m going to guess that this shop will not be robbed anytime soon-— just a guess.

If you ask a liberal it will be the next mass shooting, because he allows guns. Unlike Columbine, VT, Aurora, Sandy Hook, etc. were guns were prohibited and no mass shootings occurred.

I like this idea except for a couple of things: first, if you believe you need a ‘permit’ to possess a weapon, you do not truly understand the two parts of the Second Amendment, and second, the shop is not close enough for Me to frequent anyway.

You'd be surprised. A few years ago, I was living in the centre part of the state and some looney took it into his head to try and rob a local gun store. Despite the fact that there was a black-and-white parked curbside directly in front of the shop, the cop on break was indoors talking to the owner, and there were four or five people inside not to mention all the defensive weaponry directly at hand, he barged right in and pointed a pistol at the shop owner behind the counter and demanded 'all your money'.

Within the space of a few seconds, the two customers in the store drew and shot him centre through the side of the chest, closely followed by the cop shooting him with his (the cop's) service weapon and then the owner also shooting him as soon as the guy's weapon wavered. I forget whether or not the guy hired as security managed to get a shot off as well before the suspect dropped.

Some people just are not intelligent enough to continue breathing.
