I receive a piece Spam every other day titled “Your Approved”. even if it is a legit business, who do they think they’d attract? (Or perhaps it is intentional?)

Amazing, but I’m not surprised. I see a lot of terrible business writing daily from people who should know better. I mean, it’s one thing if the person is an immigrant with english as their second language, but I see terrible writing from native college grads.
Texting is also having an effect. Linguistically, I think it’s driving American english towards more phonetic-based spelling.
