They can’t even set the record straight on the sequester. There is no “cut”...only a slowdown in spending.
If they can’t win that war of words where all the facts are on their side, they can’t win anything.

The republicants must not disobey their masters else they will be exposed and defunded. The republicants have been ordered to keep up the sham, so they play the game as they are instructed to do. The corruption level is so great that something like telling the truth is an anachronism.
