Before he was pope, as Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio, the archbishop of Buenos Aires, Francis reportedly described gay marriage as the work of the devil and a destructive attack on Gods plan. He has also said that gay adoption is a form of discrimination against children.

"I think it's just another reminder that the Catholic Church doesn't progress with the times," said Urey, who is gay. likes to play with other mens' anuses.
Despite his perverted hobbies, this Urey character is right. Truth doesn't 'progress with the times', neither does the Church. Falsehood, OTOH, which is Uery's stock in trade, constantly tries to reinvent itself.

Who should we believe?
The Lord, the Pope, and the father of Poland’s freedom
or...
President Nothing, Barney Frank, and the pedophile-enabling house speaker of Colorado?

Not that I disagree with any of this..there is something I really don’t understand.
If I were to go to a church that preached something that I totally disagree with..I’d just go else where.
No media, no criticism, nothing.
It seems like an easy enough solution.

The Church doctrine is just that—it’s been there for 2000 years and isn’t going to change. And yet, these critics should know that this is the man who washed the feet of gay men dying from AIDS. He’s not a bigot—he upholds the principles of his Church.
I think he will be an excellent Pope. Excellent doesn’t even describe it. Actually, I should say he will be spiritual, humble, a man of devotion and faith.

"I think it's just another reminder that the Catholic Church doesn't progress with the times . . . I'm not hopeful that as an institution it will turn around . . . ."What does this fella think the Catholic Church is?
