1) Can you even add?
1 million/year legally from 2013-2050 = 37 million
1 million/year illegally from 2013-2050 = 37 million
That's 74 million WITHOUT counting the relatives those legals will get to petition for now and those illegals will get to petition for if they are legalized... AND all the children they'll have here.

2) Such thoughtless foolishness.
The billions of dollars a year in remittances sent back home by foreign born relatives/friends here (which the likes of you have welcomed) is financing the continuing invasion of illegals into this country.

3) Laughable!
And North Korea has a nuclear & ballistic missile program. What the hell has that got to do with the poverty of the vast majority of its people.

4) Come from Canada? Are you truly that oblivious?
According to DHS published statistics for 2010, of the 1,042,625 legal immigrants for that year, 19,491 were from "Canada & Newfoundland." Mexico accounted for 138,717 legally and half of the 1 million illegal entries.

5) The only point you make that makes sense. Did you copy it from another FReeper's post?

6) "They are here to contribute." To which country?

In a Zogby poll of Mexicans (LINK):

Do you agree or disagree that the territory of the U.S. Southwest rightfully belongs to Mexico?
Agree: 58 percent
Disagree: 28 percent <= *
Not sure: 14 percent
Do you agree or disagree that Mexicans should have the right to enter the United States without U.S. permission?
Agree: 57 percent
Disagree: 35 percent <= *
Not sure: 7 percent
*This means only 28% of Mexicans believe that the U.S. Southwest belongs to the US (not Mexico) and only 35% of Mexicans believe that Mexicans do NOT have the right to enter the US as they please.

According to another Zogby poll of Mexican-Americans – including those born in the United States (LINK):

When asked “Should the primary loyalty of Mexican-Americans be to Mexico or to the U.S.?” 68.8 percent of respondents said that it should be to Mexico.

When asked, “If the U.S. gave permanent legal status to undocumented immigrants (migrantes indocumentados), do you think it would make your friends and family members more likely or less likely to go to the U.S. as indocumentados, or would it make no difference?” 56.2 percent of respondents answered “more likely.”

AND THAT'S WHAT THE SUICIDE OF A NATION LOOKS LIKE!

“That’s 74 million WITHOUT counting the relatives those legals will get to petition for now and those illegals will get to petition for if they are legalized... AND all the children they’ll have here.”

And, what’s the legal immigration rate at present? About a million and a half a year.

“The billions of dollars a year in remittances sent back home by foreign born relatives/friends here (which the likes of you have welcomed) is financing the continuing invasion of illegals into this country.”

And the reason people earn money is because they work. If they are working then they are earning their employer more money than they are making themselves. I can understand your objection to benefits from the government and this is a problem. But I don’t see the problem when legal immigrants do what they are supposed to do and work. If they work and earn money - then guess what - they are free to do whatever they want with that money after paying taxes. Including sending remittances.

So what you’re saying is that I was right. Thank you. :)
