Refusing to obey an unlawful order is not a breach of the law. They had no right to stop him, no right to question him and no right to arrest him. They trampled his Constitutional rights and I hope they get nailed in court with punitive damages. If this can happen in a rural area of Texas, what would happen in a leftist state like California or Connecticut? Anyone who thinks that the State (whether it the federal, state or local government) is above arbitrarily disarming and detaining law abiding citizens needs a wake up call. It’s only a matter of time before someone gets killed for refusing to comply with such an unlawful order.

Yes, I expect citizens will loose their lives due to rogue enforcement efforts. It is a natural outgrowth of the militarization of the police. Very bad.
