Smelled of gunpowder? So now the Con-man-in-chief will what, want to outlaw reloading components?

Certainly sounds like a tax day related event to me. /sarc

BTW I have a neighbor family that was probably at the finish line that day watching their son. I have tried to call their cellphones yesterday and today just going to voice mail with no return call.

Not like them to not call back especially today, if the feds do not have the phones shut off.

Well, “20 large bags” just means that the Feds grabbed everything that wasn’t nailed down in order to run tests on it.

I’ve come to take everything the media reports in the first 3 days with a large block of salt.

Hey FBI....try a little water boarding with that grill.

Why do our politicians continue to allow Saudis to come here for college? Let them use all their oil money to build their own damn universities. American taxpayers would however be willing to donate America’s most liberal professors to move PERMANENTLY over there to help them get started.

Burned hands? That doesn’t make sense. If he was holding the bomb, his arms would have been blown off. Secondly, the bombs were probably on a timers. Describe the scenaio where the bomer ends up with “burned hands”.

Secondly, the media is making a big deal about him asking “Was anyone killed?” It’s a natural question to ask, and it would be stupid to attribute that comment to some kind of guilt.

Thirdly - was gunpowder used - or was it another explosive?

Catherine Herridge reported earlier that the Saudi man is connected to a very powerful Saudi family.

Would that family name be Bin Laden perhaps?

Hence why Kerry’s scheduled meeting with Saudi officials was unexpectedly closed to the press today. More back room deals underfoot.

As soon as the news showed that blast yesterday hubby said.....black powder. Won’t state that he is a ‘gun enthusiast’ but he was a firefighter for 33 yrs and has seen almost everything. ;)

Great. Now they'll pin it on some Civil War re-enactor.

“Catherine Herridge reported earlier that the Saudi man is connected to a very powerful Saudi family”

This explains so much to me, Maybe he came in a new fast track visa. Explains why the police have been so quick to say he is not suspect. Many forces at work here in the State Dept and I bet the Whitehouse if he’s connected to the Royal family.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/03/20/decision-to-extend-trusted-traveler-program-to-saudi-scrutinized/.

This is starting to make me very uneasy.

Earlier a link to a FB page was posted that was said to be the witness/suspect. I followed the link & he had worked for the ambassador, IIRC...

Agree! This also reminded me of the type of bombings in Israel. Can’t rule out Hamas and Hezbollah type terrorists either.

Burned hands? That doesn’t make sense.

But no other victim had only burned hands. So I guess that aroused suspicion.

Here’s the link but now I don’t see anything about the ambassador. Maybe it was one of his friends but I don’t think I dreamed it! Lol.........
