I agree that it is flat. I say that it is a portable folding chair. At the top of the “pack” you can see the wooden bar that is the top of the backrest and the bottom the silver colored legs that fold out.
I would also wager that the handle was removed from the 6 quart pressure cooker to make it easier to tote around.
I thought it may be a Presto.
Thanks. I looked at the photos again and came to the same conclusion, again. I don’t think this guy is involved. But, I could be wrong.
