And how many people saw the uncropped version of that "most striking photograph"? Most people have not seen the several inches of raw bone sticking out of Jeff Bauman's left knee.

Maybe in my remaining years, I will live long enough to see our immigration policy return to a policy of looking for people who can contribute not change the very fabric of society.

Am I the only one OFFENDED by the MSM's lament, "Why?" in connection with this jihad event? "They want to take the second suspect alive so he can answer this question!" (FoxNews)

My question is this: WHY doesn't the press do their homework? Why in the world do they expect a 19-year-old to explain a 1,500-year-old jihad from his hospital bed, when the answers are all completely available to research, but need to be 1) read and 2) taken seriously?

What passes for journalism in this country today is as bad as the Nazi propaganda ministry in the 30s and Pravda in the 50s-60s.
