Something certainly doesn’t smell right on these committee chairs opposing a select committee. Other than protecting their hides (if that’s what they’re doing), what would it hurt?
I think Boehner has spent too much time in private meetings with Obama to seem like he’s got clean hands anymore. He’s always said that the House needs to be quiet, and targeted his own members when they weren’t. See a pattern?
