Erdogan has badly over reached trying to dismantle "Kemalism". This form of secular government has served the Turkish people very well for the best part of 100 years.

Erdogan had better back off his muzzie program quickly if he wants to survive as president, or maybe even avoid a "Ceaucescu".

Erdogan leaves Istanbul for a good-will tour to Northern Africa in the wake of the protests.

Erdogan has turned more autocrat than democrat.

Erdogan is being described as deceitful and arrogant.

Erdogan’s “actions have seemed odds with his words.”

Erdogan has “become a jailer of journalists and opposition writers.”

Erdogan sounds very familiar to me.

Nice point. Kemalism is the most advanced form a muslim society ever saw. Fixing things that works never worked.
