Columbia's registrar has said Obama studied there for two years. He's in the student directory/phonebook for those years.

No authoritative word on whether he appeared in the yearbook or whether there was a yearbook.

There's this, so presumably there was a yearbook:

Nobody's posted a photo or entry from it relating to BHO, so far as I know.

He could have skipped the photo shoot, but it is a little strange that this hasn't been discussed at any length.

Why would dear olde Columbia contaminate the College yearbook with a picture of a General Studies geek?

As to the yearbook mystery. As GS is sort of the Redheaded step child of the undergraduate schools, it’s graduates have not been included in The Columbian until this year. We’re very exicted about this! https://gs.columbia.edu/yearbook

The fact that he wasn’t include in the ‘83 Columbian further reinforces the idea he was a GS student, not CC. Which means he still has a CU degree.
