Why didn’t these people tell their stories 10 years ago so we might have stopped this monster from becoming the leader of the formerly-free world.

I'm thinking that senior faculty often just give lectures and let teaching assistants interact with students and grade their papers, though, so it's not unlikely that such professors wouldn't know every undergraduate majoring in their field. Something tells me as well, that Obama's interests may have been more in third world issues than standard US diplomatic history.

I'm wondering if this can't be resolved if Obama was enrolled in Columbia College but took most of his classes at night in the School of General Studies. I don't know if that's possible, but he does look to have been something of a night owl, and it might account for the mystery.

Again, I don't know how this works, but he might have taken some of his classes at Barnard or Teachers' College or the Bank Street School or the School of International Affairs or at some other New York institution. And of course, he would have gotten his distribution requirements out of the way back at Occidental.
