There’s a huge difference between not wanting to own a snake [for example] and wantonly killing every one you see.

I’m not fond of cats but I would go out of my to help one in need and would never try to run over one with my car.

Snakes, groundhogs and turtles are pointlessly slaughtered that way every day, just because somebody doesn’t “like them”.

I do not believe for one second that you would ever fall into the latter category.

:)

Nah, snakes have their place. As long as that place is not in my shoe we get along fine. :) And even that one only got prodded out so it could be on it's way.

They crap in your flowerbeds, walk all over your car, spray your car tires with piss, meow all night outside of your bedroom window, kill your songbirds, carry horrible diseases, only want around you when they want something and many times scratch and bite you for no apparent reason even while you are petting them, come on your fenced property any time they wish and best of all, have absolutely filthy and stinky litter boxes in the house.

Every one of those problems you list can be alleviated if the cat is kept indoors. Maybe it's the people and cat haters who should be euthanized.........

You wrote “Every one of those problems you list can be alleviated if the cat is kept indoors.”

You are absolutely correct.

However, 99% of cat people don’t do that and that’s where the problem exists.

To me, feral and unrestrained cats are vermin and no different than being infested with rats or mice.

Bingo! You win the prize. I wondered how long it would take for a cat person to go crazy.

It only took post number five for a dog person to go crazy.

Dogs don’t cover their crap....and they will eat the cat poop from your garden (problem solved). They will not kill your songbirds if you feed them, however the pesticides, fertilizers and weed killers you use on your precious lawns WILL kill the birds....they dont’ carry horrible diseases. That is a lie. In fact, the truth is BIRDS CARRY OVER 60 diseases. Maybe the cats that are killing because they have too to survive are doing us a HUGE favor by killing these diseased carrying flying rodents...i mean birds. My cats are all loving...and never bite or scratch...maybe because I don’t kick and hate them like you do.

ridiculous standard nobody holds themselves to with any other things they love. i love animals but you are an idiot if you go try to get into a bear cage to pet the bear. to compare domesticated pet animals to dangerous wild animals and imply we should view and and “love” them the same way as pets is the most liberal fail logic you can resort to. that is total bs.

Wow.

Somebody pee in your cornflakes this morning?

Nobody mentioned bears at all so I’m not sure where that came from.

The point of that graphic is that people selectively pick and choose what they consider ‘worthy’ of humane treatment.

I can’t say I’d want some Aussie snake as a buddy but I wouldn’t start a vendetta against wild ones, either.

Savvy?

I'll never understand how a grown man can get so emotionally distraught over a 9 lb. housecat.

I’ll never understand how a fully grown woman can get so emotionally distraught over a 1 ounce mouse, roach, snake or a cold piece of steel called a gun.

Some things don’t make sense do they?
