President Barack Obama, more than anyone, ginned up the Trayvon Martin frenzy when he announced. "If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon" in March of 2012. And I believe it . . .

It would be too easy to fault the prosecution's "star witness" for her incoherent, stumbling, disrespectful, and contradictory testimony recalling

Duuuude....Nifong did go ahead with a public trial!

Which is why “nifonging” is now a term openly used for wrong full, racially based, political prosecutions!

But you knew that, right?

Correct if my memory is faulty, but as I recall, it never got to trial. The state’s case fell apart when it came to light that the prosecutors had made up evidence or something like that, and then it got dismissed. Which is what should have happened in this case.

It did indeed “get to trial level”.

The case was not “dismissed”.
Three innocent young men were eventually and officially adjudicated as innocent of the crimes they were accused of committing, due to wrongfull prosecution.

Their lives have been permanently and negatively impacted by their experience with our “justice system”.

But they be white boys, so who cares?

IMHO, this will be a hung jury. That would diffuse and post-pone the rioting threat and appease the fence-sitters......a tie. Opinions are so strong either way, a unanimous verdict is impossible.

The prosecution will huff and puff about re-trying the case for public(black community) consumption..... but it will never be re-visited. Everyone wins.

Speaking of retarded cognitive function...Jenteal is a witness for the prosecution, not the defense.

Hunter... Hare... Field

The Princess would have faced a world of trouble in Nazi Germany..

Make a sentence using the following words—Hunter/hare/field.. Falling to do so, a cause for sterilization...

Any bets on her adding to the gene pool?

America’s gene pool clearly needs more Chlorine...

Maybe you don't understand what a "trial" is. It is not the filing of charges against a defendant. A trial is when a jury is selected and the evidence is presented to that jury. The Duke lacrosse case never to the trial level. It was dismissed before trial. Then an ethics investigation found that Nifong had intentionally prosecuted innocent young men. He was criminally charged. That is what should happen to the prosecutors in the Zimmerman case. And, as I said before, if the Duke case had gone to trial, it would have been just like the Zimmerman case has been.

In case you want to refresh your memory as to what happened,

One of those contradictions forced Mr. Nifong to drop the rape charges in December. The woman, who had repeatedly said she endured violent penile penetration, suddenly said she could no longer be sure what had penetrated her. This came after it had been revealed that sophisticated DNA tests found no traces from any of the three defendants — or any other Duke lacrosse player — on her body or clothes. DNA from other men, however, was found.

Mr. Nifong at first vowed to proceed with the remaining charges of kidnapping and sexual offense. But in January, facing ethics charges and mounting criticism from editorial pages and bloggers, he asked Mr. Cooper to take over the case. Mr. Cooper said he and his staff spent three months reinvestigating the case, interviewing Mr. Nifong, police investigators, defense lawyers, the accuser and other witnesses.

The prosecution star witness is an illiterate girl, ineligible to graduate high school, simply because the court has substantiated that SHE CAN’T READ!

I do not believe we will ever see a race war here, and people like you can not make one happen.

Riots yes. But any war would not include a division along strictly racial lines, thus no race war.

Well I hope I’m wrong. But to me, the seeds if race riots & war have already been sown. Perhaps not for rural areas, but in the cities, I fully expect bloodshed to occur. And I expect racial attacks in other ways, too.

Look at the Paula Deen debacle. If you don’t think whites are already under attack think again. When I talk about race war, I don’t mean only “war” in the traditional sense. I’m talking full blown character assassination. People will lose their jobs & have their name destroyed all at the simple accusation of using a word some black person finds offensive. What’s next? Look sideways at a black person & they get pissed?

I resent your comment “and people like you can’t make one happen”. People like me?? Do you think I want race riots?? FYI I’m not happy with the state of affairs in this country right now. Obama has been THE MOST divisive & polarizing figure in my lifetime. You can cut the tension with a knife. I grew up during the Reagan years & wish it could be that way for my child. So no, I don’t want any of this but I don’t think we can avoid it

The comment you resent has been fully justified by your subsequent post.

Basically, you are suggesting some sort of goofy war where only footsoldiers are at risk, not the officers and noncoms as well.

This crap is not happening strictly because of black people. If it comes to war, your stupid assertion that you could only push back against the rioters is exactly the same braindead crap we saw in Korea Na Vietnam where we allowed our foes to retreat across the river and be inviolate. We know how that crap turns out.

These folks have government officials, “organizers”, media types, various stripes of so called educators, and on and on leading them to where they are going and helping to shape their behaviors and thinking. And most of these are not white.

If you think you can fight a war but not engage the command structure just how stupid is that? Yet if you do, well, the other side isn’t all one race anymore now is it?

Also, the black subculture’s hold on all black people is not ubiquitous and added to that the percentage of Americans who are multiracial is growing. Case in point: Zimmerman himself. He is South American Native, African, and Caucasian all blended together. And so are many all across the political spectrum especially in the cultural southwest where I live. So the left’s push is not against just white people..nor even their polar opposites. They will lash out at any open target.

In summary: there will not be any sides of all one race if it goes to the mat.
There could be a couple small ethnically homogenous factions if we broke into a spiderweb fractured tempest like the usual wars in Liberia. But not a race war overall.

Rethink your assessment.
