Here’s one, love those crazy things. Club chairs for seats, rides like floating on a cloud. One of the most advanced cars ever built, especially considering it was first introduced in 1955.
I’ve ridden in one similar to this but no chance to drive it, sadly. They’re a little ... different, in the area of driver controls as well as everything else. I’ve rented newer ones overseas before, which was still an experience, but this one is the real deal.
Talk about a road trip car. You’d have to plot the trip around a map of qualified mechanics, though.

That’s the prettiest color combo, imho, black with brushed aluminum exterior, tobacco leather interior. Too bad Americans thought they were too weird. Weird they are, but it’s a wonderful weird, lol.

Those things were so far ahead of their time. A friend of mine’s dad had a couple of them. I’ve always liked Citroens for some reason, but they’re a bear to keep on the road because they require the rare mechanic who knows about them.
